I'm not sure what to make of this..

Somewhere on the edge of Brooklyn.. urban legend or not, back in the day in the right hoods (or should I say, wrong..)  kicks on the line meant you could, um, acquire certain vices in the vicinity..  different kicks stood for different, uh, products..  I’ve never seen (figure!) skates on the line..  anybody?
