More Election Day photos

If you’re an American, today is a day to be proud, regardless of your political leanings.

I realize that I mentioned just yesterday that it’s not my intention to turn this into a politically centered blog.. but the timing of things past and present is just too much of a “perfect storm” to ignore.

I am full of pride today – a veritable blender full of emotions, to be honest, but mostly proud and hopeful for the future of our country for the first time in a long time.

Tonight, in Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado, Barack Obama will, officially, be named by the Democratic Party as their nominee to be the next President of the United States.

Making this even more interesting is that today is the 45th Anniversary of the “I Have a Dream” speech by the late, great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr…
